Last Friday, I stumbled across the website for LitraCon, which has since been removed. I guess this has been around for a while, but its the first I’ve seen of it. LitraCon was invented by 27 year old Hungarian Architect Aron Losonczi, who embedded layers of optical fibres in concrete. Technical information is hard to come by right now, but the blocks allegedly have the same strength as traditional concrete, and the results are undeniably impressive. Keep an eye out for this stuff.
