I agree with Arhielanto. Postmodernist architects are just as beholden to a naive ideal as capital-M modernists.

Sort of like ‘indie’ kids who all dress the same.

The main problem is, that’s usually all post-modernists do. Blow sh*t up and plump it down awkwardly in an environment where it doesn’t fit. You can call it Deconstructivism, but quite often terms like Brutalism or Bastardism would be more apt. Let’s face it, about three quarter of mr. James Howard Kunstler’s Eyesores of the Month are b*tt-f*cking ugly.
